Terms, Conditions/Shipping etc.

I am unable to sell at discount to Traders. I am only a very small business and each of the items I have for sale is hand made, so it is just not cost effective for me to do this. However, it may be possible to offer small discounts to groups/ BSG Branches and for teaching resources. Please contact me for details.
I endeavour to have most items in stock but should I receive orders that require a lead time, you will be notified as soon as possible.  
All UK orders can be paid by cheque, or Credit/Debit card.  If you wish to pay by cheque please select the "Payment by post" option. The address to send your payment is shown directly below the Payment by Post button. Please make cheques payable to Dusky Rose and enclose a copy of the order with your payment.
Cheque payments will need to be cleared before any goods are despatched.
I can also accept payments by Direct Bank Transfer; please contact me for details first.
Credit and Debit card payments are made through PayPal(no account necessary) and you will be directed to their secure server as you go through the checkout.
Please note: If your payment is made by e cheque via PayPal, I do not receive the order until the payment has cleared. This can take between 7-9 days.
Orders from outside the UK must be paid for using Paypal. You "do not" need to have or open a PayPal Account to pay using PayPal.
Orders under £20.00 postage is £3.00
Orders over £20.00 and under £40.00 postage is £4.00
Orders over £40.00 and under £49.99 postage is £4.50
Orders over £50.00 postage FREE
Large orders will be sent by the most economical means. In most cases however, delivery will be by first class post. Items paid for using Paypal will on weekdays be despatched the day following receipt of order, providing they are in stock. Orders received over the weekend will be posted early the following week.
I cannot be held responsible for failures to deliver on the expected date by Royal Mail, or any other circumstances which may delay the delivery of your parcel. Proof of posting is always obtained. If you wish your order sent by Recorded or Special Delivery, this will incur additional postage costs, and must be requested at the time of ordering.

Delivery for International orders will be by the quickest means possible (Air Mail)
Unless requested your parcel will be sent as standard Airmail.  If a tracking number is required you will have to pay for International Signed for or Airsure. This must be requested at the time of order, either by making the request in the box provided on your order or by the contact form on the website. You can also email me at [email protected]
It is not possible to send a tracked item to a PO Box.
If the checkout process does not list your country, please email to ask for a quote for postage. On acceptance, an invoice will be sent to you.

International Shipping (Non UK)

Please be aware that you are responsible for shipping costs regardless of whether you actually receive your package.  We cannot be responsible for any tariffs, customs restrictions, or other regulations that apply in countries outside the UK. We encourage you to speak with your customs office if you have any questions. You are responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply to the shipment of any products to your country. By law, we are obligated to report the exact amount of the sale on the Customs form. As a customer, you are responsible to comply with International, National or local laws regulating to the importation of products that you may purchase. It is entirely your responsibility to NOT order items that are illegal to import into your country. There is usually not an importation problem, but occasionally they occur. The risk is yours. You will be responsible for the entire package cost if it is seized and we do not get it back. 

If for any reason the package is retained by Customs Officials, we will not issue you a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition. If the package is returned to us by Customs Officials, you are still responsible for any shipping charges. 

If an order is refused delivery by Customs due to unauthorized ingredients or contents, Dusky Rose is not to be held responsible for any losses or costs incurred by the customer. If the shipment is abandoned the customer will not receive a refund or credit of any kind. If in any case we receive a return of any shipment refused by Customs authorities of any country, Dusky Rose will credit the customer for the value of the unopened and un-tampered products purchased. No refund will be issued for shipping charges incurred for the return of the shipment or shipping charges sending the product.

Once the order has been shipped, you are responsible for paying for the order, plus shipping costs.

By ordering, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Customers orders are shipped by Royal Mail for all overseas customers. Charges are based on destination. Customers are responsible for all exported content. It is the consumers responsibility to know the laws and regulations for importing products into their country. Customers are responsible for any losses. Dusky Rose does not guarantee successful delivery due to import/export laws & regulations that the consumer is responsible for. It is the consumers sole responsibility to only order what is legal for sale in their country. Receiver is responsible for any and all duty and/or VAT. Please be aware that goods sent from the UK to International destinations will be routed through the Customs Department of the receiving country. This can sometimes result in delayed delivery.
All prices shown on this website are in British pounds, regardless of how any Translation service makes them appear.
If you wish to find out what the cost of your order will be you should use a currency converter before reaching the final stages of the checkout process.

I reserve the right to refuse a purchaser if I believe it is not in the best interests of this company to allow the sale. 
Product Quality Control and Returns
Every effort is made to ensure that the goods you receive do the job they were intended for. The nature of these products is that they may have small blemishes/ air bubbles, and may differ slightly from veiner to veiner due to the fact that these are hand made. There also may be slight colour change in the silicone from time to time, but this is the silicone manufacturers decision and is out of my control. These facts should in no way detract from the products use or spoil your creations. 
In the unlikely event that you are sent faulty goods, please return them within 10 days for a replacement. Postage costs will be refunded.
Right to Cancel
If you are unhappy with your purchases, you have the right to return them to Dusky Rose within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. Cancellation must be received in writing and items must be returned unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Your Privacy
Under no circumstances will any customer information held by this company be given out to any other company or individual.
