I spent ages on the internet looking for good flower tutorials and this site is FANTASTIC. The steps are so easy to follow (I am quite new to making flowers). Thank you so much for sharing your work and ideas. I love the hints and tips too.

I came across your website whilst looking for wedding cakes with fresh flower decorations. I saw that some fresh flowers are poisonous and many are sprayed with insecticides etc. making them a hazard. Then I decided to make sugar lilies as per your tutorial and was delighted at the help you gave me online. You were very patient and I managed to eventually make lovely lilies with your veiner and the results are now on your gallery page. Without your wonderful veiner and the support and help you gave, I would never have been able to achieve this. You are a very talented, helpful and supportive person, Pol and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. My son and daughter in law were delighted with their wedding cake.

Today I found your website while searching for instructions on how to make a Moth Orchid and found your wonderfully helpful tutorial.
I have orchid petal veiners and managed to make the petals ok but found the labellum very tricky to make. It was very difficult to make it curl and the little piece at the top (which looks like a bird's head) was too flat.
The labellum piece looks like a bird to me, with head bent down, wings curling up and over and the tail curling too. Very cute.
After viewing your tutorial I can see that I need to make a thicker ridge for this part and hopefully it will go right this time. Also I found your tip of placing the sugarpaste on the veiner and then cutting it was very helpful too. Before viewing your tutorial I used cutters but found the petals were a bit undersized for the veiners so I will be trying your method in future.
Your flowers are exquisite and I was very impressed with the flowers in the gallery too. Thank you so much for this online help for which I am so grateful. Your website is one which I will come back to often. Many thanks.

My little tip:
Just as you do with the film rolls boxes, I use the small plastic containers that come with some hair-coloring sets (i.e. Casting). Those, which contains the protecting gloves.

I find them very useful for storing different small things - and they are almost translucent, too.

Hi....i need to say this....your site is awesome.....it's hard to find nowadays any bakers who would share their step by step techniques in making all those flowers.....most of them regard the techniques as a big secret....but you are superb and most amazing by sharing them....
